H-W in partnership with NICC, Featherlite

CRESCO - Several of the Howard-Winneshiek secondary staff and NICC staff met with Featherlite officials to discuss a partnership to assist high school and college students find career paths with the Cresco company.

Supt. Kris Einck and Principal Lisa Dursky, along with others met with Justin Queensland, president of Featherlite.

Einck noted the company is privately owned and the owners are putting money back into the business. Along with that, they want the local graduates to check them out before leaving the area for greener pastures.

“They build tiny house trailers, NASCAR trailers and more,” he said. “My mission is to meet with other businesses and partner with them as well. Featherlite is a great company, and it’s right here in Cresco, Iowa.”

Einck noted that all who attended the meeting were excited and amazed at the facility.
