Dough & Joe sharing donuts, thanks

CRESCO - For the past few weeks and a couple in the future, the crew at Dough & Joe has been delivering donuts to healthcare workers and emergency personnel. Co-owner of the business Molly Pedretti said, “We wanted to do something for people who work so hard. We are thanking them for the great care they give and how nice it is to have them right here.”
Dough & Joe has given away close to 20 dozen donuts to Regional Health Services of Howard County, Evans Memorial Home and Assisted Living and Accura HealthCare. There are plans in the works to also present some sweets to Country Winds Manor and Patty Elwood Center, the fire department and law enforcement.
Evans Memorial Home Administrator Amy Murphy said, “Dough and Joe treated the staff of Evans Memorial Home and Cresco Assisted Living with fresh rolls to show continued support of healthcare organizations during the pandemic. The past year has made me realize how fortunate we are to live in a community where members sincerely care about each other.”
“We really appreciate them and the long hours they have been working. If we can make them smile with donuts, so much the better!” Pedretti concluded.
What a great idea. Maybe others can spread the love by purchasing a dozen goodies from a local business (Dough & Joe) and giving it to the employees of another local business. Keep the smiles coming!
