Casinos can open June 1, as well as outdoor music venues, amusement parks

DES MOINES - During her May 26 press conference, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced the Disaster Emergency Proclamation will be extended through June 25, with changes to public health measures that have been in place.
Live bands are now permitted at bars and restaurants, but must follow social distancing. Bars and restaurants can have party sizes for up to 10 people.
Effective June 1, speedways and race tracks are open to fans. Outdoor performance venues, such as amphitheaters and grandstands, can hold live performances.
Casinos and gaming facilities, amusement parks, bowling alleys, pool halls and arcades can open at 50% capacity with social distancing, hygiene and public health measures.
Social, recreational and athletic events can also take place, but must maintain six feet distance
Practice, games and competitions for youth and adult baseball and softball can take place, as well as individual sports, running, biking, swimming, tennis and golf.
This allows extended family and friends to get together, but Iowans have to follow guidelines.
