Lauren Michele Elsbernd, daughter of Justin and Sue Elsbernd of Runnells, was baptized on Saturday, April 5 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Protivin.
    Godparents for Lauren are Kelly Johnson of Decorah, Denise Elsbernd of Fort Atkinson and Lee Meirick of Protivin. Grandparents are Carol Deeny of Protivin and Bob and Michele Elsbernd of Fort Atkinson. Great-grandparents are Cletus and Georgina Elsbernd of Calmar.
    A small reception was held at the Community Center in Protivin after the baptism for family and friends.
