Rachel Bouska and Nick Ackerman, both of Davenport are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
    Rachel is the daughter of Ken and Polly Haskovec of Cresco. Nick is the son of Cindy Ackerman of Colfax and Kurt Ackerman of Littleton, CO.
    Rachel graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Family Services. She is also a graduate of the University of Iowa with a Masters of Social Work degree. She is employed by Family Resources, Inc. as a Domestic Violence Counselor. Nick graduated from Simpson College with a degree in Environmental Biology. He also received a post-graduate certification in prosthetics from Northwestern University. He is employed by American Prosthetics and Orthotics as a certified prosthetist.  
    Their marriage will take place on May 10, 2008 at Olde St. Ann's Church in Long Grove.
