Community theater volunteers have been busy the past several weeks constructing a large door that will lead from the scene shop to the stage of the Cresco Theatre.
    The new passageway will allow for easier transport of theater sets from the scene shop onto the stage.            
    Community theater participants will now be able to build all of the sets for their plays in the scene shop, then raise them on a lift and move them through the new door directly onto the stage. Previously, some set pieces had to be built outside of the scene shop because of their large size.
