Students spend Natural Resources Day at nature center

Cresco, Iowa -
Fifth grade students from schools throughout the Howard-Winneshiek Community School District and Notre Dame Catholic School spent time learning about natural resources at Prairie's Edge Nature Center on Thursday, Natural Resources Day.
Students were divided into groups, then spent time learning about things like soil, bird watching, entomology and wild flowers throughout the morning and early afternoon.
