The Howard County First Responders is a volunteer organization comprised with 31 trained EMTs and first responders. They are often the first people on emergency scenes prior to the Howard County Regional Ambulance Service.
    In order to better serve the community the first responders are in need of updating their basic supplies and communication pagers. In order to help them meet their needs, they are beginning a donation drive through the mail. During the next week, area residents will see flyers in their mail boxes asking for a donation to support the First Responders.
